About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Cruise Consultant to join our Heraklion office.


This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional with a few years of experience, or a strong recent graduate, who wants to build a career in cruise consulting, destination development, and strategic tourism projects. We are looking for someone with strong soft skills, excellent English and Greek, strong practical Canva skills, good AI literacy, and a genuine willingness to learn and grow.



You will work closely with our team on projects in Greece and abroad, supporting both client delivery and internal development work. Over time, the right candidate will have the opportunity to take on projects with greater ownership, grow within the company, take on greater responsibility and progress in compensation and benefits.



Key Responsibilities

· Support research on cruise industry trends, destination positioning, market developments, and competitor activity

· Contribute to SWOT and Trend Analysis for ports, destinations, and tourism stakeholders

· Assist in the development of Cruise Excursion Books and other strategic client deliverables

· Support Destination Performance Measurement exercises and other guest experience improvement work

· Help prepare proposals, presentations, reports, and other client-facing materials

· Create and support visually strong communication materials, including LinkedIn content, using Canva

· Assist with project coordination, desk research, and selected fieldwork where required

· Contribute to the development of new ideas, tools, and projects that support business growth and create meaningful impact for destinations and local communities



Who We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate is an early-career professional with a few years of relevant experience, or a capable recent graduate with strong potential, excellent soft skills, and the willingness to learn.

Required Qualifications and Skills

· Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as tourism, business, marketing, maritime studies, communications, or a related discipline

· Excellent written and spoken English

· Very good written and spoken Greek

· Strong soft skills, including communication, professionalism, initiative, adaptability, and sound judgement

· Strong practical Canva skills, as Canva is a core tool used in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and LinkedIn material

· Good AI literacy and the ability to use AI tools productively and responsibly in research, content, and workflow support

· Strong research and analytical ability

· The ability to write clearly, think strategically, and present ideas in a structured way

· Good command of Microsoft Office

· Genuine interest in cruise tourism, destination development, strategy, and guest experience

· Strong willingness to learn, develop, and grow within the company

· Relevant experience in tourism, consulting, cruise, destination management, hospitality, research, or marketing will be considered an advantage.



Travel

The role includes occasional project-based travel, usually for a few days at a time, as well as possible participation in selected industry events.
