a MAINTENANCE MANAGER

NUMO Ierapetra is an adults-only seaside resort showcasing Ierapetra, a lesser-known part of southern Crete, through a modern lens. In a sun-drenched, beachfront location surrounded by evergreen gardens, we are a barefoot luxury resort with earthy design touches and upbeat vibes.

Main Responsibilities
• Conducts daily inspections of the building and facilities to determine their safe and efficient operation, such as central air conditioning system, boiler room, ventilation, water pumps, etc
• Knowledge of fire safety issues
• Good knowledge of daily pool maintenance, Ph/chemical monitoring, cleaning
• Daily monitoring of pending maintenance / breakdowns
• Maintenance of a breakdown log
• Correctly monitor maintenance inventory (tool/spare parts organization)
• Supervises and monitors the work carried out by external crews within the site.
• Prepares monthly and annual reports and recommends maintenance work to be carried out.
• Knowledge of first aid
Qualifications
• At least 3 years' experience in a similar position
• Previous experience in seasonal hotels
• Knowledge of English language
• Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or equivalent technical school.
• Ability to organise and carry out work in a short time frame
• Insight and ability to deal effectively with emergency situations
• Ability to communicate and work with many different partners
